VALLEJO-BENICIA INDIVISIBLE
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to build a more inclusive, accountable, and representative democracy by engaging our community in peaceful, informed civic action. We exist to bring people together across diverse backgrounds to advocate for policies that protect civil liberties, strengthen democratic institutions, and ensure every voice is heard.
We focus on constructive action: educating voters, supporting fair and accessible elections, and holding elected officials accountable through organized, nonviolent participation. Our message is grounded in shared values—fairness, dignity, transparency, and opportunity for all.
We aim to create a welcoming space where people feel empowered to take meaningful action, whether that’s attending events, contacting representatives, or participating in community discussions. Everything we do is rooted in respect, facts, and a commitment to long-term positive change.
Together we will be flexing our collective muscle in a tremendous day of power and showing our unity through a day of No Work - No School - No Shopping.
We encourage everyone to take on all three actions to make the largest impact possible, while always prioritizing what is best for you and your family. Join in and together as a community, we can make a difference!
For events near you: https://maydaystrong.org/
A core principle behind all May Day events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
